Midland First United Methodist Church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 761

Scouting offers an exciting outdoor skills and high adventure program to middle school and high school age boys. We meet in the youth center on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The main purpose of these weekly meetings is to prepare for outings which occur about once each month. It can be said that “outing” is 3/4 of “scouting” and if you are looking for fun and excitement come join in the adventure! Here’s a sampling of just a few of the fun events the scouts are preparing for the next year.

  • Camping
  • Biking
  • Canoeing
  • Curling
  • Swimming
  • Hiking
  • Summer Camp
  • White Water Rafting
  • Service Projects
  • Backpacking
  • Skating
  • Wilderness Survival
  • Skiing
  • Geocaching
  • Flour Bomb fun and games
