The First United Methodist Church of Midland offers many opportunities for children, youth, families, and retirees to get involved with their community. Our mission is to help people know, love, and share Jesus Christ. We’re a congregation that places a high priority in following Jesus’ command to “love your neighbor”. Because we believe strongly in God’s love for all people, we desire to help and provide hope to people around the world.

Our love is made real by supporting our local community, our state, our nation, and our world. We offer support to many agencies, programs, and missionaries to make the greatest impact possible.

Member Care Pastor

Director of Family Ministries (Children & Youth)

Want a role where you can build meaningful relationships, shape lifelong faith, and help children and students grow as disciples of Jesus? First United Methodist Church is seeking a warm, creative, and grounded leader who can invest in children and families, strengthen the ministry from birth through 12th grade, and help make faith formation an integral part of the church’s life and mission.
