Meet the Musicians: 

Erin & Collin Whitfield biography excerpt: “Collin and Erin’s paths crossed at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, when she was looking for an accompanist for a recital and a mutual friend connected them. Over the year that followed, their musical collaborations increased as they connected over shared enjoyment of the Great American Songbook and mutual respect for each other’s talent. Friendship blossomed and deepened in time and they haven’t looked back. Their shares dreams, life goals, and careers have carried them from the Bay Area to Washington State to mid-Michigan, where they have called Midland home since 2018. Collin and Erin are both continually grateful for the incredible arts community of the Great Lakes Bay Region and look forward to sharing a dynamic program of some of their favorite voice and piano pieces.

Larry & Carla Sue biography excerpt: “Larry and Carla started performing handbells duets together in 2012, building up a wide repertoire of pieces arranged for just eight bells. In July 2016 they moved to Holland, Michigan. Since then, they have performed and taught in New York City, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Nebraska, California, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan. They arrange all their own handbell duets, and they aim to demonstrate that handbell performances are not only beautiful to listen to, but can also be graceful and interesting to watch.
