Updates & News
Church and Society's bean soup mix is available Sunday mornings between services in Fellowship Hall and after second service in the Parlor. Suggested donation: $5.00. All proceeds help support Midland's Open Door ministries.
Loyalty Sunday is November 2. Please remember to bring your completed Estimate of Giving card with you to church that day. If you can't attend Nov. 2, please either mail your card or drop it off at the church office.
Imagine No Malaria. Don't miss out on "CATCHING" the opportunity to honor someone, and to "PASS" the blessings along to save a life by making a donation of $10 or more to "Imagine No Malaria." See the new fall "Imagine No Malaria" campaign in Fellowship Hall between services during the month of November.
Project Housing Connect will be held once again at First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 5. People who are homeless, or in danger of losing their housing, will gather for information, guidance, and lunch. Our church helps by providing a variety of goods and volunteers to help make our friends in need welcome and cared for during the event. You can help. Please consider donating gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves. We will also collect new or gently used blankets or throws. Please put them in the box in the office area; collection will continue until November 4. Questions? Please contact Lynnette at our church, 835.8935, or Midland Area Homes, 496.9550.
