PriHandchimesme Chimers (PC)

This choir is primarily for elementary age children who have little or no music knowledge. It will teach ringers basic note recognition, rhythms, and apply to ringing music with handchimes. Younger children need to have the ability to stay focused for a rehearsal. It is also open to any youth or adult who wants to learn to read music with the intention of joining a handbell group. Ringers will participate in Sunday morning worship and other special events.

Genesis Ringers (GR)

This choir is a beginning bell choir (for upper elementary, youth, and adults), where some basic music knowledge, such as bass or treble note recognition and basic rhythms, is required. Previous chime or bell experience is NOT required. Ringers will learn how to ring bells and use techniques specific to handbells, plus improve on their music reading skills and musicality. Ringers will participate in Sunday morning worship and other special events.

Rejoice Ringers (RR)

This choir is an intermediate bell choir (for youth and adults), where ringers are required to feel comfortable reading music, with an understanding of rhythms, and simple meter changes. Previous chime or bell experience is NOT required. Ringers will continue to learn more advanced ringing skills and music. Ringers will participate in Sunday morning worship and other special events.

Joyful Bells (JB)

This choir is an advanced bell choir (for youth and adults), where ringers have a full understanding of music as a requirement. Previous ringing experience is encouraged, however it is not required, especially if a person is a good musician with another instrument. Ringers will play a variety of music that will challenge their musicality and ringing skills. Ringers will participate in Sunday morning worship and other special events.

When: Wednesdays, 8:00-9:15 pm (Mondays during marching band; 10/3, 10/10, 10/17)

Carillon Choir

The Carillon Choir is an advanced adult choir where ringers have a full understanding of music as a requirement. Previous ringing experience is encouraged, however it is not required, especially if a person is a good musician with another instrument.

This choir rehearses weekly and participates monthly in Sunday morning worship, special events, and various handbell festivals.
